DESCRIPTION:
Yay! My poetry has yielded a song. It started out (as a poem) with 48 lines-6 stanzas... Oof!...knocked one stanza off and liked it better. (as a poem) Now, it's trimmed to 3 verses (x8) two choruses (x4) wow- 32 lines... Editing is good.

We should all be so lucky
to be lost in the woods
to let go of our bearings
and perhaps find some good
To let go of the need
to know just right where we are
and just be, out of sync,
adrift, au revoir

For it seems we're too rooted
in this world run amuck
and by loosing some boundaries
we might come unstruck

We should all be so lucky
to forget who we are
and for one timeless moment
leave that door propped ajar
To discover the instance of
how much more we can be
wihout definitions
that confine you and me

To walk through the rain
with a smile on our face
and not wonder or worry
if we look out of place

We should all be so lucky
to feel everything shift
when that big bolt of Random
lifts us and leaves us adrift
Perhaps we'll all see more clearly
when we open our eyes
and let love's healing grace
be the ultimate prize
and let love's healing grace
come inside...
