Officer Kicks are a British rock band.

It's an a 21st century classic to be discovered. Manchester Chimp magazine notes;

"Lyrically, it's refreshing to hear a band unafraid to stick a foot into political waters without preaching, stating the obvious or resorting to cliché. Not that it's all Bastille storming... beneath-the-pavement-the-beach banner waving though, the bar room is represented as strongly as the barricade, and the often wistful subject matter remains more insightful than triumphalist. There is not a weak track on the album, and producer Alexander Wolfe, imposing the sort of modern-retro sound favoured by Jack White on his myriad projects, pulls the stylistically disparate elements together into an electrifying whole; as the dandy bipolar highwayman had it: Viva le Rock!"
