DESCRIPTION:
Japanese jazz group Hiroshima made their appearance during the eighties with a mixed of japanese traditional musical instruments such as japanese flute, japanese drums, shamisen together with the combination of modern musical instruments adding a jazzy japanese flavor to it.

Musicians comprised of Dan Kuramoto who plays saxophones, flute, japanese flute, vocal and percussion, June Okida Kuramoto plays koto, and shamisen. Teri Kusumoto vocals and percussion, Johnny Mori plays Taiko ( Japanese Drums ) and percussion. Jess Acuna vocals congas, and percussion. Danny Yamamoto drums. Dane Matsumura plays bass. Peter Hata guitar and Richard Mathews plays keyboards and synthesizers.
