Nowhiterag - Dear Foe - Video
PUBLISHED:  Feb 07, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
When I wrote this story my days were not so bright
I scrambled in the morning and drank all through the night
but when too many letdowns shake and wreck your peace
you learn it fast to recognize a friend from an enemy
Hey you, dear foe, whoever you will be
Wherever I will meet you don't try to bother me.
Hey you, I've got no time so listen to me well
this place is too small for both of us, don't wanna see you again!

Under this black sky I wonder why I'm alone
I take a look at the stars and none wanna fall
I think about the future, the fears about the past
all good things in life were nothing seems to last
Spitting to the ground, all I hate in life
with broken bones, I hold my head and cry
I pack my bag, I drink a bottle, it's time to get away
a big fuck off to everyone, tonight I'll be on a train

Every time I fall I stand up stronger dear foe
next time I'll be ready I'll say no
and Every scar you made me has just grown up my rage
Now I'm alone with myself...
Dear foe I've got no time for you

Under this moonlight, tonight I'm not alone
so far away from home I've found someone who wants to talk:
a rough skinned man tells me his story while smoking cigarettes
he was a sailor for the army but he quit to work for them
"I didn't wanna work ruled by a gun
I thought I have a dignity so I landed and said them fuck"
He told me how it's gone, he ended on a street
I look his eyes, they're shining bright I'll take his words with me

Every time I fall I stand up stronger dear foe
next time I'll be ready I'll say no
Every scar you made me has just grown up my rage
Now I'm alone with myself...
Dear foe I've got no time for you

Under this blue sky I've got to find myself
sometimes to be alone is better than to be your friend
Yeah I know, I'm not as iron willed as you thought
but to sue my wounds was totally my fault
'cos every scar you made me recalls me I'm alive
My mind is too packed with things to do for such a given time
so every time I go away, you know, I will come back
with something more into my heart allthough closer to death
