Many, including Maino, took direct offense to Trinidad's comments, as they felt as though he was attacking the state of New York Hip-Hop, however Nore believes that his comments were misunderstood.

Nore pointed out that he believes Trinidad was speaking solely about New York radio stations sounding the same as Atlanta and other areas, rather than stick to its own sound. Nore actually agreed with Trinidad that the South is running New York radio, however when it came down to choosing sides regarding the potential beef between Trinidad James and Maino, Nore firmly stated that he's down to back Maino.
