DESCRIPTION:
So when the Trek America tour finished in Seattle and we all said our goodbyes, Team Al drove north to Bellingham to pick up an RV for the second part of our adventure.
In 12 days in the RV we covered 2366 miles, 5 national parks, 2 State Parks, hundreds of miles hiking, numerous roadside attractions, countless Starbucks (for much needed internet and caffeine, in no specific order!), crossed the Continental Divide no less than 10 times (more if we'd have actually counted), conquered three mountain passes, one at 12,095ft (not fun in an RV!), drove along the top of America on Trail Ridge Road, saw a multitude of wildlife, and had THE BEST TIME EVER!!!!
We captured the entire drive on a GoPro Hero 3+ and have constructed it here, for the YouTube public. I hope you enjoy a brief insight to wonders of what we experienced on the open road and just how magnificent America is. To me, to us, America is about what it's made up of, the nature that America has to offer, the scenery. It's just stunning. And a bit surreal…
