The No Kill I is a punk rock band in Star Trek uniforms that's been around since 1993. The "normal" early 1980s style of punk -- out of control shows with much drinking and blood loss. Don't ask why, because we sure as hell don't know, but we were a Hogan's Heroes band for a little while. Shows are usually pretty out of control what with the booze and the destruction and the flames and the costumes and the fights and the blood and the gore and the spitting.

Cap'n Kirk is getting a Ceti eel that Khan implanted in his noggin removed in July 2008. Don't worry, it's benign. C'mon, you know Ceti eel? Wrath of Khan? Get it? Get it? The bass "player" is going to Varanasi, India on July 14 for some unknown period of time. You know, Varanasi, the birthplace of Parshvanatha, the twenty-third Tirthankar. Don't worry, he doesn't know either. He's planning on playing hurdy gurdy when he's back, but Emily says he's just looking for curry vagina.

The Official Order of Star Trek punk rock bands, as ordered by Kahn Noonian Singh is:

1. No Kill I

2. No Kill I - The Next Generation

2. No Kill I - Deep Space 9

3. Thee Shatners

4. Stovokor

5. No one cares anymore.

The No Kill I Recording

Log

We'll have a CD out on Trekkerds

sometime. Oh yeah, like that's going to happen.

The best way to hear

our songs is by going here and downloading our songs

for free. Look around on our site and swipe some pictures for a cover. It's

slow, but hey, it's free. They're low-fi mp3s made from a 3rd generation tape.

Sorry, but that's all we got.

Our known releases:

s/t tape (NKI,

1995?) - All the songs on the mp3 site but those are pretty crappy 3rd generation

burns.

There was another version

of the tape that had songs we recorded with the Orion Slave Girl drumming, but

the master from that recording session has been lost. That pretty much sucks

'cause they were good songs. No, wait, the Orion Slave Girl sent me the tape

in 2002. Most of those songs are horrible. I don't know what I was thinking.

Swimming the Secret

C comp CD (Secret Center, 1996)

Songs About Drinking

comp 2LP (Too Many Records, 1996)

Wood Paneled Pacer

With Mag Wheels comp (aka the 30 second song comp) LP/ep (Too Many Records, 1997)

I think we're on some other comps on Secret Center and Very Small/Too Many records, but I'm not sure. In October 2004, we recorded the night before Gornzilla made his first attempt at riding round the world on a 40 year old motorcycle. If you see that guy, tell him to go back to Sacramento and pay his bill at World's Best Comics.Trekkies 2 soundtrackThis is crap. Avoid at all costs. It shows up on ebay for one cent pretty often if you need to hear it. None of the No Kill I bands had a chance to submit songs so they used live songs which were recorded by chimps.

If you're looking for a show around Sacramento, check out UndieTacos and leave a note on the forum. Odds are high we won't play with you unless you can make an offer we can't refuse. Have a good schtick! http://undietacos.org/
