Noa Vax project "Granny Memi" 1/6/13 Tel Aviv
A journey of roots and tradition, one percussionist goes through her grandmother's memoir songs, and turns them into a middle eastern fusion show.
"Granny Memi is a feminine and rhythmic music project, based on videos and records of my grandmother singing in Ladino.
She immigrated to Israel from Istanbul in the 50's.
