TAPS is an annual week-long percussion seminar, covering a wide variety of musical styles, instruments, and approaches. Our faculty give master classes, performances, and private lessons to TAPS participants. Students participate in percussion ensemble rehearsals, with a public performance at the end of the week. Two mock auditions are held, one for high school level students, and one for college students, with the winners receiving prizes from our sponsoring companies. Students will have an opportunity to get to know our faculty through collaboration, but also through shared meals and social outings.

The first annual TAPS took place from July 6-12, 2015 at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University at Long Beach.
