About closing your eyes, thinking of the one you love and unbeknownst to you, the tears start to flow. The alaap is performed on flamenco guitar.

Meaning of the song:
Longing is a painful emotion, an emotion that haunts you with the thoughts of those you love and crave to be with. As one longs for the beloved...love takes the form of tears and pain, bringing back all those passionate feelings and memories.

Poet in these repeated verses reiterates the fact that love becomes so overwhelming at times, that this beautiful emotion gives us happiness and satisfaction on one hand, but also makes us helpless and vulnerable on the other.
