Nibelheim

I NIBELHEIM, Thrash Death Metal band abruzzese, nascono nel 2003, da un’idea di Stefania (vocals) e Luca (guitars). Dopo diversi cambi di line-up, trovano la stabilità nel Luglio del 2005, grazie all’ingresso di Andrea (guitars), Federico (drums) e Gabriele (bass). La composizione di pezzi propri inizia subito, così come i primi concerti in ambito locale, che riscuotono ottimi consensi. Successivamente la band, avrà l’onore di condividere il palco con band come SADIST e CADAVERIA. Nel Settembre del 2006 si classificano al primo posto nel concorso “Jammin’ Sound Festival”, vincendo la registrazione di un demo-cd, che uscirà nell’Aprile del 2007 con il titolo “DRAWING THE LINES.Il demo ottiene ottime recensioni su tutte le più popolari webzine ed è TOP DEMO su undergroundattack.it. Anche il famoso magazine Rock hard, nel numero di Febbraio 2008, definisce il suo sound “terremotante” e la band come sopra le righe per tecnica, songwriting ed interpretazione. You, Liar, e successivamente anche Your World/My Prison, vengono scelte per entrare a far parte di due differenti compilation, la nostrana “Italia Violenta” e la peruviana “Infesting The World”. Nel Febbraio 2008, i Nibelheim firmano un contratto di collaborazione con l’”Extreme Agency” di Roma, alla quale si affidano per la propria promozione, e nel Febbraio del 2009, durante un mini-tour italiano come opening act degli storici SADIST, la band fa la presentazione di “THE WAITING ROOM”, il secondo Demo Cd. Successivamente, la loro "Lunatic Asylum" viene scelta per entrare a far parte della compilation Americana "Downtown Metal. A fine Ottobre 2009, la band ha l'onore di aprire la tappa italiana del "Fear No Evil Tour" della grande DORO PESCH.



NIBELHEIM is a female-fronted thrash death metal band hailing from Italy, founded in 2003 by Stefania e Luca.



After many line-up changes they definitely began their metal career in July 2005, with many concerts (supporting bands as Sadist, Andralls, Cadaveria and many others) gaining, day after day, the audience interest and esteem.



In September 2006 Nibelheim won the "Jammin' Sound Festival" competition, whose first prize was a free cd recordng.



The band's first release ("Drawing The Lines") saw the light of day in April 2007.



The Demotape receives several good reviews and is Top Demo on undergroundattack.it



In August 2007, Nibelheim's track "You, Liar" is selected to be part of the "Italia Violenta" Compilation, and later, they will appear on the Peruvian "Infesting The World" compilation too (a collection of tracks by various international bands), with "Your World My Prison".



In February 2008, The "Extreme Agency", an Italian based metal agency picked up the band for booking and promotion.



After several delays, in February 2009, during an Italian tour as Sadist opening act, the band releases "The Waiting Room", the second demo cd. Their song "Lunatic Asylum" is chosen to appear in the American "Downtown Metal" compilation. In October 2009 Nibelheim perform as opening act of DORO PESCH "Fear No Evil Tour" 2009.
