Almost 40 Years ago the New Lost City Ramblers began their campaign of appreciation for Southern string band music, performing traditional music in traditional ways. Their vision and talent helped broaden popular music styles. In this, their first new recording in over 20 years, they offer a fresh look at old-time, early bluegrass, and Cajun music played on a variety of acoustic instruments. A booklet by this historic trio contains essays, notes, discography, and photos. "A lively blend of primarily Appalachian songs and tunes...full of fresh energy and joy." — Goldenseal
