Mexican producer Luis Flores presents Droid Recordings 14, New Flesh, delivered on limited edition white vinyl with hand silk screened jackets. Already making its way into select DJ sets, the title track is dark and hypnotic, built around the "new flesh" vocal sample and a repeating, intensifying bass tone. Drumcell pushes the track into heavier, darker territory, while CLR mastering resident Brian Sanhaji transforms the piece more dramatically, turning out a screeching industrial monster complete with massive bass hits. Flores' B title Excision speeds things up for an adrenaline-fused take on the Droid sound. The digital version comes with alternate remix versions as well as a DJ tool with essential track elements.
