Starting in 2003, Negative Process,has become A combination of very different personalities and musical influences. This band explores more musical styles than most metal bands will consider, while still staying a serious metal band at the core. Negative Process has become one of the more memorable bands in the Dayton metal scene because of their diversity of style and their effort to keep things interesting and not fall into a pattern. The band ranges from acoustic melodies with vocal harmonies, to the most brutal gut-wrenching screams and pummeling breakdowns. These guys touch on such subject matter as corruption in the church, government, and within the human psyche, while still dealing with subjects as simple as dishonesty and depression. Bordering on genres such as Thrash, Hardcore, and Old school Metal, this is a band that can be appreciated by any metal head. This is a hard working band whose dedication to promotion and representation is earning them a permanent spot in Dayton local scene history.
