NAILBINDER

Risen from the ashes of two Springfield based powerhouse groups (Hasty 180 and Pitch Black) Nailbinder was born in the Spring of 2006. Tony Mercer (vocals) of Pitch Black joined up with Ben Bogard (vocals) and Eli Closson (percussion) of Hasty 180 to form the core of Nailbinder. Along the way came Steve Fuller (bass guitar) and Jared Pemberton to complete the sound of this five piece. “Making good music while having a few drinks” – Ben, was a basic start for this group. Unbeknownst to the band they would captivate crowds all around the tri state area and beyond.



With their debut EP “.See How the End Begins” in 2006 Nailbinder set out to shock and take control of the local metal scene anyway possible. To Nailbinder no venue is too far and the road is a blessing. Embracing fans new and old; far and near are the corner stone and driving force of the music.



Over the last four years the sound of this group has grown and matured. Buried deep in the ideas of controlling the crowd with groove style rhythms, tri vocal harmonies, duel harmony guitars, and thunderous low tones crowds have learned quickly each and every show is an adrenaline packed experience from start to finish. Every time this group gets up on stage you know they lay it out on the line each and every time that is uncompromised by none.
