Hello,

Are you an unsigned singer-songwriter or musician who writes original material looking for extra exposure? Want the possibility of more views, likes or subscriptions. Want a chance at selling more songs on iTunes, band camp, cd baby and other such places? Do you want some honest anonymous feedback instead of empty praise? Do you want help in being promoted? Then keep reading.

I find advertising by yourself or just your band is not enough to help musicians/artists to get noticed. A sustained promotion by any artist/band is an uphill battle, time consuming and expensive, so a new direction or old one is needed. Basically the idea here is to promote and advertise artists on a major music site, music blogs, music e-zines, email lists. Many hands make light work, and it makes us strong.

REASONS TO ENTER THE KOZMIC DREAMERS 5TH SONG EVENT

1) To create a play list on you-tube, promote the artists and original songs to as many people as possible. The play list will consist of 70 to 100 songs. Once every five days the songs in the play list will be randomized by myself, to ensure that no song hogs the first position. The song event will last for 30 days.

2) The Song play list will be publized on You-Tube, Twitter, one or two other music sites whose primary purpose is to provide information on Artists and Bands to serious music lovers. This 3rd site that I am talking about has yet to be chosen.

What I can tell you is that the website would have anywhere between 300,000 to a 1,000,000 visitors a month. The plan is to pay for a major advertisement on such a web site, make the advertisement interesting, hopefully attracting anywhere between 4 to 9% of the visitors and have them listen to the artists on you-tube. That could mean anywhere 15,000 to 50,000 people. However please note as this is the first time I am doing this I cannot guarantee results.

The event will also be publicized on music blogs music e-zines, email lists and 2 press releases will be issued. There could be anywhere from dozens to hundreds of people promoting this song event, it could go viral! It is also expected that the creators of music blogs and music e-zines will favor certain artists and perhaps write about them, of course there are no guarantees.

3) Song entry fee is $15.00 for the first song and $20 for two songs. You are free to change your mind, right up to 3 days before the song event starts, and your money will be refunded.

4) I reserve the right to refuse entry to any song into the event for any reason. The song event will only go ahead if I have enough people interested. At the moment I only have 27 artists and I need 60 artists to make this happen.

5) I do not make any money from the song event unless I sell my songs on itunes and other music sites. All the money collected will go on advertising and prizes. I will not be collecting any money until I have at least 60 artists who are committed.

7) Among the thousands of people who will have the opportunity to listen to your music if they desire, are music fans, journalists, promoters, radio stations, independent record labels. I hope that you gain some extra listens, views, likes or perhaps something more substantial. But I repeat I do not guarantee anything; I am merely creating the opportunity for artists and music lovers to connect. Hopefully some of these people will become a fan, buy your music or subscribe to you, again as this is the first time I am doing this there are no guarantees.
