Welcome to Season Four! We're celebrating our collaboration with the Ali Akbar College of Music. The timing couldn't be better as the college cuts the ribbon for the long awaited opening of their library and archives in California.

EpisodeThree features the AACM Tabla Ensemble comprised of the school's youngest students. Under the guidance of the great, Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri, these young stars exhibit an impressive display of tabla repertoire in Jhaptal, the 10 beat rhythmic cycle. Listen along with the melody of the harmonium as it plays an ostinato, a repeated phrase, that helps keep the drummers on track.

Stay tuned as we bring you amazing footage. All episodes were filmed on location in Kolkata. More adventures on their way so stay tuned...

We're thrilled you've taken some time to stop by and visit. We've made it our mission of preserving and promoting Indian classical music. We're are absolutely nuts for it! All are welcome here. Whether you're new to Indian music or you're a seasoned listener. There is something for everybody!

Our video series is a great place to start. Shrinivas. Joining them are the stars of tomorrow like Alam Khan, Falu, Steve Gorn, Sameer Gupta, Mita Nag, Abhik Mukherjee and Uday Kumar.

You'll also find plenty of fun cover songs here too; our humble beginnings where we prepared pop tunes of today and yesterday with actor/comedian and international man of mystery, Mike Myers. A highlight for sure.
