DESCRIPTION: Here is my Second attempt at Rye Straw but this time played on David Oakes;s wonderful James Ashborn clone ! I love this powerful banjo so much . This is a D tune played in low double G minstrel tuning .
Many thanks to Jason Sypher (fiddle) and Nancy Sluys on great clawhammer banjo for giving me this tune here on YT. Also to Adam Hurt and Brad Leftwich for their clip as well . This is one of those tunes that will be different next year.. Tone of nuance to find here yet . I am just finding the bones at the moment !
