Gibson PAF Burstbuckers vs Bare Knuckle Nailbombs, by Richard Norton Guitar - Video
PUBLISHED:  Mar 01, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
This video A/Bs the standard Gibson PAF Burstbuckers, from the USA-made Gibson Standards / Customs, with the UK made Bare Knuckle Pickups "Nailbomb".

We run through two core tones in this video - clean on all pickup selections, and high gain on the bridge pickups - with the BKP immediately following its Gibson counterpart.

The Nailbombs are notorious for their high gain applications, but don't think they're just for metal! The cleans feel much more 'open' and breathy than the PAFs, allowing for additional clarity across the spectrum.

Obviously, you have to take into account that the PAFs are closed, and the BKPs are open, but that doesn't have too much of an impact.
