DESCRIPTION:
This is a video of my newly completed home made turntable. I am totally new to making turntables in fact I never really knew how they worked until a couple of months back. I made one before that was really just for practise. This is my final. You can see next to it the first stages of another I am creating. The plinth (base) is actually a bamboo bread board I got from the hardware store that happened to be exactly the right size. This one is called "The Hybrid" as it is a combination of a pioneer tonearm, Marantz motor and platter and onkyo headshell. Sorry if the vid is a bit shaky. I did it on my iphone.
