365 Songwriting Challenge: song 47 "violin bows" - Video
PUBLISHED:  Feb 24, 2017
DESCRIPTION:
Hey everyone! So this one so far has been my favorite song of the month so far. It's just so darn fun to play! I wrote it after being inspired by the singing sand dunes. When soft sand from the top of the dune is moved over the hard sand underneath it reacts as if the upper layer of sand is a bow playing a violin or cello. It is quite an amazing thing :) Let me know what the song means to you :)

Lyrics:
Violin bows rushing cross the desert
One of them shows me I'm not alone see
i know
a note

now and and then again
i look through the looking glass
far far away
i see
the sea

Where do you go when the silence is come
Where do you go when dissonance is sung

Violin bows rushing cross the desert
Jericho walls are coming down in heaps
i know
a note

now and and then again
i look through the looking glass
far far away
i see
the sea

People around every corner
Making the most out of silence
