Amidst the growing violence in Palestine and Israel, I felt inspired to have another Funky Farmer Newsic episode with my band Mutual Kumquat, performing our song "Looking through these pages" on Ann Arbor's 107.1FM Tree Town Sound with Matthew Altruda. The song was originally inspired by conversations with a Palestinian friend yearning for peace amidst the despair and agony of years of conflict and violence.
