"Cuando Calienta el Sol" está una canción hermosa y muy romántica que siempre he amado. Estudié español en la escuela secundaria, la preparatoria, y también en el colegio. Me gusta la música española (es un idioma hermoso) y la música del mariachi. Espero que le guste este vídeo de música. :) 

"Cuando Calienta el Sol" (aka "Love Me With All of Your Heart" in English) is one of the most beautiful and romantic love songs written for those hot, hot, hot summer romances. I studied Spanish in middle school, high school, and also in college. I love the Spanish language (it's a beautiful language) and the mariachi music, the most famous form of Mexico folk music. The sound of the trumpets and the colorful charro outfits, with those big sombreros, played and worn by the mariachi bands, have always intrigued me.

The first day of summer 2012 was on June 20th and it has left us to welcome the first day of autumn on September 22nd. I hope everyone had a fantastic summer. Until next year, let's just say goodbye to summer for now with one of my very favorite summer love songs, "Cuando Calienta el Sol."

I translated this timeless love song from Spanish to English to the best of my ability. Note: It's not a "word-for-word" translation. I altered the wording just a bit to make the translation flows better, but the original meaning of the song remains the same.

"Cuando Calienta el Sol" is not just the title of a famous song, it's also the title to an Argentine movie of 1963. This song sure has traveled worldwide and been translated into many different languages, including Vietnamese.

The rhythm, the lyrics, and the music of this song inspired me to write a limericks poem for it. I named it "Summer Romance" for the one who's in love so hopelessly in a hopeless love.... Ahah, yes, I know, it's almost a tongue-twister because it's a pun that I'm using here. :)

Long embraces, with hot kisses, the summer fun
Waking up, 'twas just a dream
of you that I wanted to scream
Summer romance, it burns; I now must shun!
