DESCRIPTION:
Excision came across electronic music in 2004 and was instantly hooked on the raw sounds he heard booming out of the speakers. He soon became more involved in the music which led him to choose production & djing as the methods for his creative outputs. Excision has been in the studio since day one producing dark & heavy beats. While 2006 saw his mixes garner over 20,000 downloads, 2007 and beyond will see his sound storm onto the Dubstep scene.

His brainchild Rottun Recordings has been picked up for worldwide distribution by Nu-Urban Music based out of the UK. The label follows a mission statement of pushing the sounds of Dubstep in every aspect with each record released and the first releases have been met with praise by some of the dubstep scenes most influential figures.

Innasekt is the project title given to Sully and Sneers musical collaberations. This duo purvey dank, twisted beats for the tougher end of the dubstep genus.

Seattles own Press has been heavily involved in the local Drum N Bass scene ever since he first took to the decks in 2001. Soon after that the production bug bit and the real infection began. Press has since dedicated himself to the Dubstep sound and as a member of the prominent Shift Crew and has helped forge a strong and ever growing Seattle Dubstep scene. His vast musical influences mixed with extensive knowledge and experience with his production arsenal make him anything but a 1-trick pony. With tunes running the gambit of styles from hard and driving to melodic and fluid, this man is someone to watch out for.

Self Similar hails from rainy Seattle WA. Exposed to making music at an early age, he was involved in the local metal scene before starting digital production in 1997. Hooked to cutting samples and the hardcore driving sound of drum and bass he moved on to hardware samplers and synths. Performing a live pa for 4 years at parties and clubs, he spun the masses into a frenzy with his pounding drums, screaming sub, and cinematic sweeps. After a brief hiatus, the production started up again, this time the focus firmly set on the darker side of the Dubstep sound.

Adroit & TheOneSpy of MicroTerroriZum (MTZ, Drum & Bass crew) team up to produce under UltraBlack. For the past six months these two have written a vault full of nasty mutated tunes. Dropping original sets every month at "Subliminal Sundaze"(Arizonas first all Dubstep night), quickly earned them a spot as residents. With forthcoming releases on "Function Forward", "DubKraft", and now "Rottun Recordings" this duo has managed to sign ten tunes in two weeks. As if the month of August couldn't get any better, MTZ formed a sub chapter crew called MTZ DUB. Joining forces with UltraBlack, 6BLocc, Ca$h, Claw, High Rankin, Parson, SelfSimilar, and Zardonic. Expect nothing less than pounding low frequencies, shrieking stabs, & dark ooze to spill out the sound system's cabs any time these producers step on the decks. You've been warned.
