Matthew Shelton (https://www.youtube.com/user/FlexYourLoveMuscles) contributed his otherworldly video manipulation skills to today's synth jam! On the audio side of things I designed a sleepy pad patch with the Roland JU-06. On top of that is a lead sound created by running the Critter & Guitari Pocket Piano in vibrato synth mode through the Electro Harmonix Mel 9 set to clarinet with no dry signal. When the song starts I have the depth of the Pocket Piano vibrato set high with the rate very slow to get the "dolphin call" effects. To create a more stable condition for the melody I simply drop the depth down. All of it sounds amazing with the slow attack and extra sustain added by the MEL9. Finally both synths are getting some extra space by getting via the Valhalla Vintage Verb on the effects send.
