DESCRIPTION:
This is a song I wrote and produced called "American Nightmare". It is performed by myself and two great artists and friends of mine, Gina Rose and Lafonda. In these uncertain times we are living in, I feel this record is necessary. I really enjoyed putting it together. The inspiration to create this song came from all those courageous people in the New York "Occupy Movement" along with other similar movements worldwide. The middle-class has all but disappeared in this country and it's a problem that is getting worse day by day. Those of us who are blessed with much more than the basic necessities of life should never take it for granted. I admire those who slept in the park for months just to make a statement. The truth is, many of them are ordinary working people who have lost everything in this unforgiving economy. Whether you agree or disagree with the occupy movement, you have to admire the fact that American's are not as complacent as we once were. Enjoy the record and pass it on! Peace!
