The 99 Percent by Dangerous Class
Dangerous Class is a band made up of four guys from the North Shore of Boston, MA. Paul Whitmore is our drummer and recording engineer and he is 5'10". Rick Li plays keyboards, guitars and is the main composer. Scott Lindberg is the lead singer and is also lyricist on some of our songs. Bob Perle plays bass, guitar, and keyboards and is a knowledgeable soul; he is also a composer of some of our music. Between the four of us we have decades of musical playing experience. There are many influences in our music, too numerous to mention. But here's a few anyway. The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Neil Young, etc. The name Dangerous Class comes from the German phrase, Lumpen Proletariat. Not that any of us are dangerous. We write socially conscious songs, but some of our songs are just plain fun and don't have any political agenda. We hope you like "The Great Depression" song. That was written and recorded sometime in 2008 after the market crashed. We dusted it off and recorded a new version three weeks ago, because we thought the song had new meaning, because of what was going on at Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Boston. In fact we have a music video of this song that was filmed at Occupy Boston recently and is playing on YouTube. If you like this song, I am sure you will like many of our upcoming songs on Google. Please contact us at DangerousClass@Comcast.net. Please, tell us what you think and feel about our song and video. Thanks.
