Over the last year, Motion has delt with death of friends and close family, A failed recording contract with Syntax Records, at the hand of himself, Motion found himself lossing his faith and running in the circles that were long put behind him, when he committed himself to Christ in 98.
Motion often calls himself "self destructive" stating; "Ive been around so much negitivity in my live, watching my mother be abused and beaten and then myself being put in that same enviroment after my grandmother passed, i feel like its never really left me, and when i feel things are going good, i just sit there and wait for it all to go bad." This is something Motion has been dealing with for years. " I love my lord and savior Jesus Christ with all my heart, i would die for him and i mean it, how many really would? I know i would lay my life down, i already give my last cent or the clothes off my back to anyone who asks! I just cant stand people who dont walk whut they talk, and that goes for myself! So when im dealing with unforgiveness and hatered, i find myself stepping away from my ministry and commitment to God, which is totally the wrong move i know that. I dont know why i do it."
Motion goes on to say; " I always come running back with my tail between my legs, hes the only way i ever find peace, i just dont lie to people and make them think its all peaches and cream when its not! so many of these christian artist and industry types do that, and i refuse. i will be honest weather or not that gets me talked about, hated on, or banned from the Chrisitan Market!, i will continue to make music, and go forward with the path God has laidout for me, he never failed with his will for my life, i did, and forgiveness has been asked over and over again, i praise him for his redemption and mercy in my life."
