LOVE IN THEM THERE HILLS*
Every time I go out and come home
I can hear my Mama say
Girl how come every time you come home
You come home from that a way
Whats up there ain’t down here
It’s leading you astray
I do my best to raise you right
But you’ve gone the wicked way
Mama please can’t you see
There’s something up in Them Hills for me
Bless my Soul Mama you got to know
That There’s Love up in Them Hills, Now Now Now
Bless my Soul Mama you got to know
That There’s Love up in Them Hills
Mama said the people that Live on the Hill
They’re really outta sight
People like us that Live on the Low Land
Just don’t fit in Right
When two Hearts beat as one
They don’t care who’s Rich or Poor, ooh
All they want to do is Love each other
Who could ask for anything more
Mama please can’t you see
There’s something up in Them Hills for me
Bless my Soul Mama you got to know
That There’s Love up in Them Hills, Now Now Now
Bless my Soul Mama you got to know
That There’s Love up in Them Hills
Bless my Soul Mama you got to know
That There’s Love up in Them Hills (repeat)
ooh, Bless my Soul
