Mother is a four piece cover band from Melbourne.
Over the past 10 years the band has rocked around, VIC, N.S.W., QLD, The Milky Way & the Aurora Borealis
Their show is one not to be missed!
As well as playing in Mother the four members have worked as a backing band as well as being consumed with their own original projects.including: Tanya Cavanaghs Blush (check her out on myspace), Josie Jason and the Argonauts, L.I.C.K., Velvet Volkswagen
The girls have also individually performed with many other artists and projects such as: Hair the National Tour, Bachelor Girl, mimed with Moby ha!, David Jones, The Nudist Funk Orchestra, Spencer P. Jones, Circus Oz, Emanuelle Carrella, Nat Alison Band, The Jaynes & Chocolate Starfish to name a few.
Mother have a unique way of performing rock covers that is highly refreshing and entertaining. Whether you enjoy the music of Jimi Hendrix, Led Zepelin, Ozzie Osbourne & Status Quo or not, you will find this show very, very enjoyable. Oh, and another thing THEY ROCK!
