DESCRIPTION:
Gisle Myklebust is a capable songwriter where the music spans from heartfelt, playful ballads to intense, energetic bebop-inspired pieces in edgy, bold arrangements. A potent live band, his quartet came together in 1995 and has played on most local stages for a number of years. Myklebust has long held the dream of releasing a solo record with his own material and that dream is now made manifest. The quartet has attempted to maintain the characteristic, powerful live sound for which they are known.
