More Than Me

It's true: there's "more" to this group than there is to most other bands. While their personas may convey a party-like good time and easy-going attitude, underneath lies a serious dedication to making songs that are at the top of their ability. And it's quite evident that the foursome known as MORE THAN ME embodies undeniable talent and accessibility that is a rare commodity in today's music world.



Based out of Buffalo, N.Y., and comprised of the same members for the last nine years, the band's Pop/Rock sound allows them the freedom to play a wide variety of venues: from intimate acoustic coffee house, to clubs packed with hundreds of excited listeners, to larger college campus crowds, and even festival audiences of over 10,000. With over 500 shows, and at least 100,000 miles worth of national touring under their belts, the group has plenty of experience delivering a great live performance. It’s no wonder that Teen People magazine said MTM is “Not short on talent”, and Robin Wilson of the GIN BLOSSOMS thinks of the band as “some of the coolest, smartest, Rock&Rollers he’s ever met”.



Their latest single “Unconditional Truth”, has both won the rock category in the international songwriting competition songoftheyear.com (VH1 Saves the Music Foundation) as well as capture the attention of Engineer/Mixer/Producer CJ Eiriksson (Matchbox 20, Incubus, Hoobastank, Jack’s Mannequin, Hanson).



Throughout their career, MORE THAN ME has consistently connected to their audience, at home and on the road, and have been rewarded by being able to sell over 5000 independent CD's (out of the

back of their van!), while garnishing over 200,000 hits on MySpace.com, and being voted "Best Original Rock Band" by the WNY People’s Choice Awards.



Everything else aside, these guys really know how to make good music. And when it comes to this band, you can always expect "more".
