The streets they bled into white last night
I couldn't make out the screen
My clothes are hanging frozen on the line
Even the coffee tastes mean

So I call her up and she says

Stop acting high and so holy
There's no excuse to be lonely
Take a look around you tell me what you see
While your waiting for an explanation
Do I need an invitation?
Take a look at yourself and take a look at me

I think my blood it boiled late last night
It played out just as I feared
My toes are frozen at the end of my feat
Even the coffee tastes weird
