MONOMA

The monoma are: Emanuele Schipilliti - Agostino Condoluci - Valerio Silvestri.
After many years travelling and living in various parts of the world, the three musicians encountered each other in Rome.
Since the beginning they have been composing songs with a personal sound obtained from the combination of acoustic instruments, piano and guitar with synth and laptop.
Their first releases, "Senza Rumore" and "Cabaret Meccanico?" sold 3,000 copies nationally, aided by country-wide live performances throughout 2007 & 2008.
The album "E.Le.Menti" contains 10 songs originally recorded in 2008 in a farmhouse in the Delta del Po' which then matured directly on club stages. The group was the opening act for London folktronic band "Tunng" on their 2008 Italian tour.
During the promotional period for the album "E.Le.Menti" the group received such positive international feedback that they began to write songs in English in order to gain a wider audience overseas.
