DESCRIPTION:
Probably the better sounding record coming out of Respond (Oct 1984) this track is standing the "test of time" for decades (unlike other Respond, and even TSC, releases) thanks to a crystalline and "natural" production by Paul Weller helped by Solid Bond's engineer Brian Robson. Written and played by Steve White and Gary Wallis, featuring guest vocals by a young Alison Limerick, with Paul Weller and Mick Talbot too (the Style Council played this song live in concert, audience tapes are available)

A landmark and inspiration for the future Acid Jazz scene, the single made only number 102 in the charts. This is an unreleased and unauthorized "radio edit" I remixed some years ago for Mod Radio UK.
