MN2S Client Katherine Ellis enjoyed BAFTA success as the soundtrack to blockbuster 'Gravity' written by Steven Price won the Original Film Music category.

Pitted against the likes of John Williams (The Book Thief), Thomas Newman (Saving Mr. Banks) and Hans Zimmer (12 Years A Slave), Price's score which features a soaring vocal on the title track by Katherine Ellis, triumphed at the hugely prestigious event.

Commenting on the experience of recording for the movie starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, Katherine said: 'I really had to dig very deep to produce what need to be expressed. I was reduced to tears by the emotion of it and the sheer effort of trying to do it. And when I did go for that last note, it was so hard... I knew how I wanted it to sound and how it needed to sound. I had to really let go and I did think to myself, I may never speak again or sing again but I've just got to go for it because I really want to achieve this sound. And I did it. And it was exhausting, and I was physically shaking afterwards. It was a triumphant moment.'
