DESCRIPTION:
Milo Jones covering Awake The Empire's 'The Last Stand'.

All of the drums you hear in this video are played by me.
I grasped those sticks and beat them like a man bear pig...
I played to a 'raw' version of the song with no drums, before having mine added - so I really haven't kept to how it was originally played.

This was my first cover in a while, so hopefully the mix has come out a lot nicer than it used to, and was also Awake The Empire's last single/ music video before their indefinite hiatus began in 2012 - so it'd be awesome if you headed over to Facebook and gave their page a 'like', they were a quality band.

All the audio and film was captured simultaneously, in one take, by my friend Tristan Bacon, using 5 Cameras and a Zoom R16.

I had a few issues with my headphones' cable disconnecting mid-song, since we had to stretch a few leads to reach my drum kit. - There's a few shots where I'm pushing that cable back, deep inside the hole. Bad times.
- It made hearing the track near impossible, in places, though - so sorry if I'm playing parts one handed.

My cymbals have changed a lot since I last uploaded too, mainly due to cracks, rather than a change in direction. I also had to use Tristan's kick drum, since this was all shot at his house, and transporting mine in that little car I came in would've been impossible.
