Art has been said to be an imitation of life. When a



real artist creates, real life experiances are used to



fuel their work. In todays one-hit wonder society we



live in, real artists are a dying breed. Lexington,



Kentucky's own Mino is a true testament that "Hip Hop



is not dead." Every verse is another picture painted.



Raised in a single parent home, Mino was introduced to



the hustlas, pimps, and junkies at a young age.



Realizations that life was what u make it be, made



Mino strive to find his ticket out of the hood. Sports



were the 1st choice, but at age 16, music became his



dream. This choice may have saved Mino's life, because



in the 10 plus years since he made the decision to



focus on music, a handful of his friends are either



dead or locked up.



1/2 of Bonafide Circle, 1 of the hottest up and coming



groups in the south. Mino and his partner in rhyme Ike



Brown have dropped numerous projects including: 2023



B.C.(2000), Best of Bonafide(2004), and The critically



acclaimed BootLeg LP(2005), as well as a slew of



Mixtape's(75 South Vol. 1-5).



2007 was a year of growth for Mino with the realese of



his 1st solo project "Showtime Vol. 1" hosted by



Hittmen Dj DCeezy, featuring the Hit Singles



"Showtime", and "Got MY J'z ON" Currently working on



"Showtime Vol.2" and performing at venues all accross



the southeast, Mino was nominated for 5 "KYMP" awards,



and created his own award for himself "KY's Most Slept



On Artist"!



Mino's flow can not be put into 1 category. His slick



voice, mixed with heart-felt lyrics, lead to



showstealing verse's everytime he hits da booth. His



hook, and ghostwriting, has made him very in demand



amongst fellow artists. Mino has worked with Ceelo



from Goodie Mob, Jahiem, Bone Crusher, Rob Jackson,



Black Coffey, Mase, Yo Gotti, Drumma Boi, K.G.



(Naughty by Nature), GMack & CunninLynguists, and many



more.
