Mindset

Originally forming in Tassie back in 2006, Our Mindset relocated and reformed in Melbourne
a couple of years later to quickly set about releasing a demo and their self titled debut
EP. After the customary hardcore band line-up changes Our Mindset spent most of 2010
writing and recording, emerging in 2011 armed with their debut album "Midnight Sky".
Produced by Sam Johnson (50 Lions, A Death In The Family, House vs Hurricane). Mindset
released "Midnight Sky" on Adelaide independent label PEE RECORDS April 2011.
Our Mindset offers up a fresh take on the modern hardcore sound, holding down a
purposeful balance of the old and the new
The Mindset sound is best described as Melodic hardcore with progressive elements with
a hardcore rhythm and vocals. Technical aspects are what define the difference between
mindset and other hardcore bands. Future endeavours will see Mindset get music out to the
different parts of the world in hope to go overseas and play shows to many different types of
audience
