Easy for You was a track I worked on with talented MC Mike Baker the Bike Maker a while back. Mike Baker hails from the Island Nation of Alameda just off the coast of Oakland California.
I wanted to do a special project to support the release of the ThatsThat Sampler album and I thought what better way to do it then then do a music video. I listened to the track a few times and realized how fun and positive the track was. A concept rarely seen in todays hip hop music. It reminded me of some Golden Era Native Tongues stuff.The idea for the music video "popped" into my head so to speak as I was visualizing the lyrics. Check out the video and I hope you enjoy!
