Review and demo of the new Orange Micro Dark 20 watt valve amplifier. With a 12AX7 tube in the preamp and a solid state power amp, this little "lunch box" amp delivers in crunch and power. Guitar audio is raw and not enhanced, effected or equalized. Just the raw audio as captured through the Shure SM-57 into a Neve VR channel and then into the DAW.

Compare the sound of the Orange Micro Dark through the Orange 1x12 PPC112 cabinet and the 1x8 PPC108 cabinet. Listen to the different settings available with Orange's innovative Shape control and 4 stage gain.
