Irish DJ Micky Modelle, DJ poll winner numerous times, finally won his hard earned chart success in 2006 with 'Dancing In The Dark'.



Gaining Number 1 chart positions on video channels The Box and MTV, but without a shred of national radio support, 'Dancing In The Dark' still climbed to 10 in the UK national charts



In his impressive career as a producer and remixer, he has remixed artists such as The Source feat Candi Staton, Atomic Kitten, Samantha Mumba, Nomad and Pink, but chart success under his own name eluded him until he came across a ballad by Belgian singer Jessy, and transformed it into a huge dance crossover track.



Over You, released for Christmas 2006, was another massive hit for Micky, and cemented his profile as a leading producer. Again it featured Jessy on vocals, and a riotous video based on the movie Coyote Ugly.



Micky's third release (to be previewed exclusively on Myspace shortly) is scheduled for release in spring 2007 and is set to be even larger than the previous two.



In the meantime he is besieged by remix requests (you'll find at least one of his reworkings on any given Clubland or Ministry compilation!), and he still finds time for collaborations and to encourage and look after young Irish producers.



His collaboration with DJ Ryan Rafferty (under the artist name Nimrod) is released March 2007 on Maelstrom Records, and further collaborations with DJ Rankin, the Ghettobusterz, and several others are promised for the summer of 2007.
