DHT BIOGRAPHY



For quite some years now, European dance band: DHT featuring Edmee has been an icon in the international dance music scene.

With their dance and unplugged remake of "listen to your heart" they hit the No 1 spot in the US billboard mainstream top 40 and became a top 10 hit all over the world.

Over the years the music of DHT has turned into a unique style, with influences from all kinds of music. From a pumping "hardbounze mix" to "trance" or a beautiful ballad, everything could fit their style. Dance mixes and pop music mixed and matched is what makes DHT popular. A good club song on a saturday night as well as a radio mix for during the week. Other songs by DHT: "I go Crazy", Someone and "I miss you".

Since 2001 DHT has been working with singer Edmee, MC/DJ Da Rick "Flor" and producers. Edmee started singing for DHT when she was only 15 years old, now on her 23rd she is an experienced singer, probably one of the best in the world. Da Rick has been around for some years as well, as an MC, DJ and producer for "Da Boy Tommy", "sergeant pepper" and D&D.

After "listen to your heart" & "I go crazy" DHT featuring Edmee is ready to amaze you one more time.

Edmée's singing career started back in 2001 when she was only 15 years old. She started out as a studio singer and was the voice behind records like Alone and Uninvited. Due to her young age she was not able to perform on stage but everything changed when Edmée turned 18. In 2003 she joined DHT on stage. Since then her live vocals have been a great success factor of their performances.

In 2005 the group's name changed to DHT featuring Edmée and it was during that summer they topped the charts with their brilliant remake of "Listen to your heart". Edmée's voice gave another dimension to the song with her "Unplugged vocal edit".

DHT featuring Edmée's album followed soon after and delivered 2 more singles, "Someone" and "I go crazy".

Today DHT featuring Edmée is ready to take over the world once again with their new single.

Flor is one of the main producers, writer, composer and sometimes even a singer for DHT featuring Edmee. On Stage "Da Rick" is pumping the crowd with the microphone and just being crazy. Together with Edmee the DHT show is a fantastic uplifting party with all the hits dance and unplugged.

Flor started out as a "Master of Ceremony" on big raves in Holland, Belgium and Germany. Through DJ connections and friends he also got more involved in production and DJ-ing. Now over 10 years later "Da Rick" has toured the world as a MC and DJ and has worked with the best people in the industry on various productions.

"Da Rick" has been closely involved in successful dance formations: Da Boy Tommy, Sergeant Pepper, D&D and various other productions.
