Micka Luna - BLACK CROWS Score Suite - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 03, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
Black Crows explores the sense of community that is created out of sharing a profound experience. Specifically, the work took its theme from the impact of war on couples and the community developed between soldiers in battle, between loved ones left at home, and the potentially uneasy reintegration of a returning soldier into family life. Set to a new score commissioned by Dancenorth from Spanish composer, Micka Luna, and choreographed by Raewyn Hill, Black Crows thoughtfully presents themes common to human experience through highly technical dance language.
