The Pitcher is more than just your typical Dutch DJ with his stunning looks and girl attracting smile. He’s also quite possibly the most revolutional producer in the hardstyle scene, and master when it comes to winning over the crowd. The Pitcher never forgets what it's all about: enjoy the music!

At the age of 19 Luc van Veghel began taking producing lessons; Not from just anyone, but from the one and only Michel Pollen – the world’s greatest mind, concerning sound design in hardstyle and the best kept secret of Fusion, label of the notorious Donkey Rollers. It is rumored that, the Pitcher is the man behind the invention of the well-known pitch-kick, making hardstyle what it is today…

And today The Pitcher is still growing, traveling the world performing on EDC Las Vegas, Qlimax, Defqon1, Hardbass and Decibel to name a view. In 2011 Luc’s debut-album “Smack” won the Hard Dance Award for ‘best artist album’. Relentlessly producing smash hits like “Ain’t Nobody”, “Music To Keep Me Alive”, “This Is Who We Are” and the Wish Outdoor anthem “Forever Young”, he has proven to be one of the strong forces within hardstyle these days.

Luc dreams of skyrocketing hardstyle. Going back to basics, The Pitcher is cooking up a new row of ultimate hardstyle-tracks for his upcoming new Album "Shock And Awe", which will, as he puts it so nicely: “downgrade Smack to pussy-style ;)”.
