NOISE to LIN FM gives you a slightly different, sharper flavour than mixing osc wave and noise, and it leaves your external input unused.

KB to MULT enables you to use different notes for different sounds.

MULT 1 to VCF ensures low notes or kicks play without noise, high notes play with noise, as hihats. Mid notes blend osc and noise and yield toms and snares.

MULT 2 to VCF RES ensures high notes or high hats have more treble and sound thinner. Low notes have less resonance and therefore more bass.

Once patched, the trick is to find the right sequencer notes to generate BD, SN and HH and tweak further settings to your liking (try note length / EG decay, etc.)
