As I lay Dying vocalist Tim Lambesis is involved in a new side project. During an interview with Loudwire, he stated:
"This isn't necessarily from the band but I have a little side project in the works that I want to release sometime, next there is a slight break in the As I Lay Dying schedule -- something more on the death metal, extreme end of the spectrum. We recorded a few songs and hopefully that will be out by the summer time."
The new project is not his, Austrian Death Machine.

Megadeth have a new label. Dave Mustaine spoke with Vintagerock.com, and stated:
"We have the ability to do what we want and we're with a great new label. We're doing a press release about it soon. I can't say who it is; you know I'd love to tell you who it is... But we're not with Roadrunner anymore. That was some good years for us there, and we really look back with great fondness on our times with Roadrunner. But the excitement level for us right now is just insane."
Megadeth are in the studio tracking their new album with producer Johnny K (Disturbed, Staind). Mustaine also confirm that the 'Gigantour' will take place later in 2013 in the U.S. and South America. He didn't reveal and band names, but said that one of the bands are "notorious bad boys".
