Menticide is the solo project of 31 year old Andreas Hallberg from Sweden. This twilight psy trance project was founded at the end of 2012, and since then he has released a number of singles and vs tracks under his Menticide guise. Andreas however has been producing music since 1999, most notably under his Section 4 & Solar Midrange solo projects and a duo project under the alias Overdrive. For a number of years he was involved in other genres of music, and it was only in 2004 that he discovered the true magic of psychedelic trance. Since then he has continued gravitating more and more to the full on and night styles of this enchanting genre and now solely focuses on his Menticide project which is a powerful mix of pure psychedelic, full on, twilight and hi-tech sounds packaged very precisely with massive kick and bass elements and super tight percussion. The time however has arrived for Andreas to fully embrace this new path, "Power Up" and present us with a slamming 3 track offering which marks his first solo artist EP as Menticide. Expect massive synth work, clever percussion, and insanely arranged sequences of madness that is guaranteed to power up any dance floor and incite some serious stomping!!!
