Vintage Guitar magazine's "In Hi-Def" series this month features Buckcherry guitarists Keith Nelson and Stevie D. Both are fans of vintage instruments, and use them even on their extensive world tours (Keith takes his '59 Les Paul Standard on the road!). Here, the guys tell us about the "road" guitars, as well as their amp and effects rigs, all served up with a side of ham!

KEITH NELSON'S GUITARS
1) '57 Gibson Les Paul Junior in TV Yellow. 2) "Louis," a 1959 Les Paul Standard 'Burst. 3) 2006 Zemaitis Custom Shop replica of the Ron Wood "resonator-front." 2) Gibson '59 reissue Les Paul with refinish and neck-shape work by Dave Johnson. It has Sheptone humbuckers.

STEVIE D.'S GUITARS
1) Gibson Les Paul Standard '59 reissue. Stevie put '57 Classic pickups in place of its stock Burstbuckers. 2) '74 Gibson Les Paul Custom. 3) Late-model Gibson Custom Shop SG. Originally white, it was refinished by Bill Nash and now has WCR custom-made Cherrybucker pickups. 4) Gibson '59 reissue Les Paul tobaccoburst with replica hardware and pickups.
