DESCRIPTION:
Gabriel's Oboe was the theme song in The Mission, a movie starring Robert Deniro. Ennio Morricone composed sound tracks for 3-400 movies, most of them spaghetti westerns, including The Good The Bad and The Ugly. I was inspired by Mauro Di Domenico's rendering of Gabriel's Oboe on You Tube. Unable to find his sheet music, I managed to mimic his arrangement for the most part and transcribe it into MuseScore, a free music software program on the web.
